2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:
- Before Course Commencement: Full refund (minus processing fees) if cancellation is requested at least 7 days before the course start date.
- Within 7 Days of Course Start: 50% refund if cancellation is requested within 7 days of course commencement, provided no classes have been attended.
- After Course Commencement: No refund will be provided once the course has started and classes have been attended.
- Course Cancellation by Academy: Full refund will be provided if the academy cancels a course for any reason.
- Medical Emergency: Refund requests due to medical emergencies will be considered on a case-by-case basis with proper documentation.
3. Non-Refundable Items
The following are non-refundable:
- Payment gateway processing fees charged by Razorpay (typically 2-3% of the transaction amount)
- Any course materials or supplies that have been provided to the student
- Registration fees, if applicable
- Fees for classes already attended
4. Refund Process
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Send a written refund request via email to info@divyankanartacademy.com or contact us by phone.
- Include your enrollment details, payment transaction ID, and reason for refund request.
- Provide any supporting documents if applicable (e.g., medical certificates for medical emergencies).
- Our team will review your request within 5-7 business days.
- If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within 10-15 business days.
5. Payment Gateway Refund Processing
Refunds are processed through Razorpay, our payment gateway provider:
- Refunds will be credited to the same payment method used for the original transaction.
- For card payments, refunds may take 5-10 business days to reflect in your account.
- For UPI payments, refunds are typically processed within 24-48 hours.
- For net banking, refunds may take 3-7 business days.
- Razorpay processing fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount.
6. Partial Refunds
In cases where partial refunds are applicable, the refund amount will be calculated based on:
- The number of classes attended
- The course duration completed
- Any materials or resources provided
- Processing fees and administrative charges
7. Transfer Policy
Instead of a refund, students may request to transfer their enrollment to:
- Another batch of the same course (subject to availability)
- A different course of equivalent value (subject to approval)
- Another student (with prior written approval from the academy)
Transfer requests must be made at least 7 days before the course start date and are subject to availability and approval.
8. Disputed Transactions
If you notice any unauthorized or incorrect transaction on your account, please contact us immediately at info@divyankanartacademy.com or call us. We will investigate the matter and work with Razorpay to resolve any payment disputes in accordance with their policies and applicable laws.
9. Special Circumstances
Special consideration may be given for refunds in the following circumstances:
- Medical emergencies with proper documentation
- Relocation due to unavoidable circumstances
- Course cancellation by the academy
- Technical issues preventing course access (subject to verification)
All special circumstance refunds are subject to management approval and require proper documentation.
10. Refund Timeline
Refund processing timeline:
- Refund Request Review: 5-7 business days
- Refund Processing: 10-15 business days after approval
- Credit to Account: Depends on your bank/payment method (typically 3-10 business days)
